If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I had a MAJOR catastrophe....I had literally just purchased a brand new Louis Vuitton Speedy bag. I had wanted this bag forever, so I saved up and finally purchased it. Then, like an idiot, one day I was rushing and attempting to paint my nails in the car and dropped the bottle of bright white nail polish which spilled alllll over my brand new bag. As soon as I could I tried wiping the polish off with water and a rag, but as any woman knows, nail polish can be sticky and not so easy to work with - it just smeared around the bag and got wedged/stuck in the crevices of the leather. And you can't apply nail polish remover to leather because it will destroy the leather and wear off the LV emblems.

I went to 3 different places, all of which turned me away saying there was nothing that could be done, that the bag was ruined. I then went to a Louis Vuitton store and spoke with their repair professional who ultimately told me the same thing, ughhhh. But this woman did say that I should try Margaret's before giving up hope, that they had worked miracles on some of their bags. Kim greeted me at Margaret's. Kim had a great demeanor and offered exceptional customer service. She told me their specialist Nora would work on the bag and let me know if anything was possible to save the bag.

I expected a substantial wait, 3-4 weeks, but a mere 2 weeks later (maybe even less) Nora called me to tell me the bag was ready. "So you were actually able to fix it?!" I said. And Nora very modestly replied "it's wearable again." Wearable? I was expecting a slight improvement but still essentially a damaged bag. Wow was she underselling her work! The bag looked PERFECT!! GOOD AS NEW! After being told so many times that it was hopeless, I actually had lost hope and was prepared, and super sad, to basically take a 2k hit, which is what the bag cost. I couldn't be more thrilled with this place! If I remember correctly it was $250-$300 for the fix - a hell of a lot better than having to buy a new bag at 2k again! I don't know what their secret sauce is, but they've got something that clearly nobody else does. Thanks Margaret's!!!

Margaret's you did it yet again! I used you for my mom's wedding in August and for mine this month and it was another spectacular experience. I hate to get overly emotional about alterations, but for those that have planned a wedding you know how many ways it can go wrong... you also know that you relinquish a lot of control to vendors... you must trust that they'll deliver on your expectations. This place is more expensive than I thought alterations should cost, but once I factored in the quality, the service, the assurance that my dress would be done perfectly and delivered timely, the price I would pay again. I got married in Riverside but live in San Diego.

Waffling on if I should do alterations in Riverside or San Diego so I wouldn't have to do fittings in Riverside, I finally decided on Margaret's without knowing they'd deliver all the way to Riverside. But boy did they deliver! My dress was altered and pressed perfectly, they added my sash/belt (and side note: they even made my mom a choker from the leftover material on her dress), and they delivered during the window promised. Putting your wedding dress in the hands of a vendor 100 miles away and crossing your fingers that they'll come through is nerve-wracking... but they did... twice now... and they will continue to have my business.

Shout out to Naomi Miller... you will not find a sweeter, more knowledgeable, more skilled seamstress anywhere!
