Even though we frequently ship all the services that Margaret's offers, some are more appropriate than others for shipping. The services most commonly used are:
Purse & Handbag Cleaning, Bridal Gown Preservation, Leather & Suede Cleaning, Necktie & Scarf Cleaning, Knit Cleaning, Blocking & Reknitting, Hand Laundered & Ironed Shirts, French Hand Laundry Service, and Table & Bed Linens.

No prior arrangements are necessary to use our cleanByMail Service. Simply print a CleanByMail Request Form from the link above and send the form with your items to be processed. We'll get started when we receive your order. NOTE: If you wish to have us provide insurance of more than $100 on an item when it ships back to you, indicate the amount of coverage on the form. The cost of the additional insurance, appeoximately $1.00/$100 delared value, will be added to your shipping charge. Margaret's will not be responsible for uninsured items damaged or lost in shipping.

The actual cleaning prices for our CleanByMail service are the same as our regular over-the-counter or delivery service. There is no minimum order, however, there is a single $5 surcharge for handling with each order (not each piece) in addition to the actual shipping cost. A summary list of our average pricing is available upon request. All prices are subject to change without notice.

The turnaround for items processed through CleanByMail typically takes about 3 more days than our over-the-counter service. This time is in addition to shipping time to and from Margaret's.

Margaret's now offers estimates via our webcam using Skype or Facetime. Many problems can be seen by our CleanByMail specialists so we can give you a better idea of the price before you ship an item. In addition, the CleanByMail Request Form will soon be an on-line form that will allow you to attach photos of your item showing its condition.

Include on the Request form the required Credit Card information for billing. Processing of the order will not be initiated until complete and verified card information is obtained. If you have used our CleanByMail service before we may have a card on file for you. In that case, just provide the last 4 digits of the card on the form as well as its expiration date.

Many items are shipped in our specially developed containers to protect the garments during shipping. Each item is carefully packaged to protect the finished garment. UPS ground shipping is used unless otherwise specified. Be sure to indicate declared value for insurance and your preferences regarding delivery if no one is home to receive the package.
