We provide a unique decontamination services for all types of couture gowns and articles currently in inventory, client returns, display pieces, customer try-ons, furnishings or any other item that is in need of decontamination.

To further aid with online purchases, bridal salons should consider using Margaret’s as the customer return destination point where we can immediately proceed with decontamination prior to returning items to your store, which will limit the exposure of your employees. You will receive immediate notification of our receipt of a shipment and we will provide a convenient online tracking system.

Full-service cleaning may be cost prohibitive. We are proud to offer our bridal retail partners an affordable expedited decontamination service suited for EVERYTHING. With this service, garments stay on their original hangers and it will NOT be necessary to remove the security ID tags.

Margaret’s has developed proprietary customized chambers and the processes necessary to treat couture bridal apparel using “best practices” as outlined within CDC guidelines for coronaviruses remediation. Specific attention has been given to optimize our ability to handle new items. In particular, enabling ID tags to remain attached and for articles to remain on their hangers.

Two separate processes are incorporated for the treatment of bridal gowns. Both treatment stages have been recommended for coronavirus remediation as discussed in current available literature. Using these two treatment processes will provide redundancy and assure confidence of an effective treatment. It is our decades of couture experience which enables Margaret’s to know EXACTLY which process steps are best-suited for your couture items, and with proper climate control we can assure the quality you know and trust. PROCESS 1:
High Temperature Exposure

Elevated temperatures are known to effectively eradicate viruses. Our drying chamber is designed with thermostatic control and is a recommended treatment in coronavirus literature. In our custom chambers, the garments do not tumble but remain stationary as the heated air circulates. And as stated above, new clothing can be left on original hangers with ALL the security and ID tags. All items shall be exposed to a temperature consistent with the established protocol and appropriate for each item.

PROCESS 2:
Hydroxyl Decontamination

Hydroxyl radicals help keep the Earth’s atmosphere free from harmful compounds. Restoration companies use hydroxyl generators for deodorizing disaster cleanup of all materials from fabric to paper, and it is completely safe for people, animals, and plants. A controlled application of this gas has been proven to be more than 99.99% effective against pathogens such as coronaviruses and is used on every treatment we perform.
